ROLAS JAVA COFFEE (KOPI ROLAS)

Rolas Coffee and Rolas Tea are the products of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII (PTPN XII), one of the largest companies in Indonesia that produces agriculture products. PTPN XII is specialize it self in coffee and tea products. The word “rolas” is Javanese word that actually means “twelve”, taken from the name of the company.

Rolas Coffee is 100% pure coffee selected and made from filly ripe red coffee cherries of PTPN XII Robusta and Arababica coffee estates in East Java, Indonesia, and processed through wash method by experienced experts. Rolas Coffee is processed and package in vacuum packaging to preserve its stable aroma and taste.

Rolas Coffee is made from the finest coffee bean in Java Island, and was processed in such way that produces such a very exclusive coffee, with such a traditional taste of a Javanese coffee. The Javanese people are well known for their coffee culture that so unique and exotic. Rolas coffee brings you the traditional Java coffee taste, that wrapped in the exotic atmosphere of Java culture.



ROBUSTA JAVA COFFEE

Robusta Java Coffee of Rolas Coffee had such a unique traditional taste. The taste is very down to earth, and best serves without sugar – for those who loves their coffee black, this is one of the best coffees that have a sensual thick black taste. This kind of taste is the kinds of taste you’ll find in traditional Javanese coffee bars called warung kopi. It had an exclusive yet traditional taste of Javanese Coffee culture. We give you this kind of taste, but wrapped exclusively for your best satisfaction.

ARABICA JAVA COFFEE

An Arabica coffee bean contains more acid compare to its cousin, the Robusta. Thus it has a bit sour taste in our tongue the moment when we drink it.

While the Robusta Coffee is the black kinds of coffee, the Arabica Coffee is the espresso kind. Arabica Java Coffee of Rolas Coffee had a different exotism of Java Coffee. It had more dynamic taste. While the Robusta had a calm and unique jazzy taste when it touches your tongue, Arabica had a dynamic and cheerful taste that gives a bit kick, and makes your tongue dance. Thus this coffee makes your eyes rise and shiny the moment the coffee touches your tongue.

Arabica Java Coffee of Rolas Coffee is made from the finest Arabica coffee beans planted in the soil of Java Island. Because of the unique compositions of the soil’s minerals, it generates a unique blend of Javanese taste with the nature of Arabica coffee.

GUNUNG IJEN SPECIAL BLEND

Other coffee product of PTPN XII is Ijen Special Blend, and Kopi Lanang. The Ijen Special Blend is a blend of Arabica and Robusta coffee beans. This coffee is process in a different way. Its coffee beads are a bit rougher than rolas coffee. If rolas coffee has a soft and more feminine taste, Ijen Special Blend brings you a taste that is more masculine.

The taste is a unique mixture between Robusta and Arabica. It is still had a dark black taste as Robusta, but less in thickness, and it also had a dynamic kind of taste like Arabica. This is just the coffee that suits to be serve as espresso, or cappuccino, latte, or any other coffee brewery.

KOPI LANANG

The taste is actually not much different with Ijen Special Blend. It has a bit darker taste, less bitter, and another different is in the coffee beans. Kopi Lanang’s coffee beans were like balls. It beans were round as marbles, without any slice on it beans as normal coffee beans. Thus it called “lanang” because the beans didn’t had a vagina-like slice on the beans – lanang is the Javanese word for male.

Kopi Lanang is also had a mystical taste. It believed to be able to serve an aphrodisiac purpose. This coffee is also can make you feel more refreshing after you drink it. It can restore your stamina. Usually Javanese people drink this kind of coffee with honey, and sometimes mixed with the yellow part of a raw egg.

Because the coffee beans are quiet rare and it has a pharmacological features, this coffee’s price is a bit different from the others.

BALI COFFEE (KOPI BALI)

This coffee is the product of the Paradise Island of Bali. Its coffee beans are cultivated and processed in a different way compare to the products of PTPN XII. It is blended, and processed in a more traditional way. Thus the taste is more Bali. Its taste is dynamic like Bali traditional dances. The taste is strong and smells so sweet. Just by smelling the coffee you could already wake. This coffee no doubt brings thick Bali atmosphere to your presence.

OTHER JAVA COFFEE

There are some other coffee products, it's new and it is available wether in raw beans, roasted beans or coffee powder that ready to use. These coffee had the same quality as rolas coffees, but a lot cheaper. It is being sale by kilos. It prices are vary. depend on the coffee.
